Final Blog

Hello everyone!! I have to say this was a very interesting course. Areas that I feel that I have grown i these past 10 weeks would be of course learning to properly research a paper. I thought I had that down pack but I soon came to realize I didn't know exactly what I was doing until after our exercise. I've also become more aware of the APA format. This was a challenge but with the help of a great professor and awesome classmates it soon became a breeze. I enjoyed being in this class with you all and look forward to seeing you later as we get closer to completing our degree majors here at Kaplan.

Final Draft gitters!!

WOW!! This course flew by very quickly!! Now that its time to submit my final draft I have to say I'm filled with mixed emotions. Of course I'm anxious to see my grade, but at the same time I'm a bit nervous. I was tired up until a few days ago when I decided to take some me time, no school, no kids, no work, just me and LMN ( lifetime movie network)!! I really had a tough decision to make when I had to choose what I wanted to write my research paper on, it was actually between the topic I chose mental health issues in youth and the health of female inmates. Both these topics hit home for me so yes I'm quite sure I will be doing more research on the health care of female inmates. I want to wish everyone the best of luck on their final draft!!

Unit 8

Do I plan on continuing my blog after this course? Well if you had asked me that the 2nd week of this course I would have answered NO!! Because I couldn't wait until I didn't have to blog anymore due to the fact that I was at a total lost for understanding BLOGS! But since I've become more educated on the whole blogging thing and through much needed practice its become more interesting, easy to follow, and fun. So yes I plan on keeping my blog up so continue to visit my blog spot after this GREAT course!!!

Unit 7!!! What has been my oh I didnt know that moment!!

During the research process of completing my final project I have ran across a lot of informing and interesting information, but one thing that sticks out to me the most would be that its recommended that the average American should seek professional mental health at some point in their lives. There are lots of people living with mental health illnesses and are afraid to be seen by a professional due to embarrassment which can lead to many more problems. I'm thrilled to have completed my final draft and look forward to receiving my final grade. Best of luck to everyone!!

The past six weeks!!!!

The past six weeks have been very exciting. I feel that I have been keeping up with my assignments as expected. I have been working very hard to complete my final essay with "A" quality. Since being introduced to the blogging world I have set up a face book account that I am still experimenting with at the moment. I enjoy hearing from people I haven't spoken to since high school. I look forward to getting closer to completing my final draft and seeing what I make. I want to wish everyone the best of luck on completing their rough draft and final draft.

Have a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New year!!

Since I joined the Kaplan family!!

This is my third term here at Kaplan and its been a great experience. I think my kids are more excited about me going to school than I am at times. They have my seminar times down pack. I've made this whole thing into a family affair. We compete to see who can make the best grades even though they didn't understand the grading system at first. My family has been very encouraging and supportive since day one. I've been very blessed thus far to have excellent professors who are willing to teach and not just assume you know something, therefore I have came out of all of my previous courses with "A's" and currently have"A's" in both of my current courses. I wish everyone the best of luck in continuing their education!!

If were a victim of plagiarism.

Hello everyone!! If I were a victim of plagiarism lets say in the work place with forged documents ,there are many steps I would take to handle the situation. First I would follow my chain of command by speaking to the proper authorities and informing them of the issue. I would also have any evidence that may help me prove my case whether it be a eye witness or documents. I don't think I would personally confront the person because it very well could be unsafe to confront the person. If my employer couldn't resolve situation then I would have to take them to court.
